OYSTER SHELL SOAP DISHES

 Our oyster shells come from Whitstable (and a few larger ones from Scotland). They are cleaned, sterilised (to ensure all fishy scent is gone) and painted white inside the shell, gold outside to seal. Then decorated using various techniques to detail with birds, flowers, fish, leaves, abstract themes. 

Some are embellished with gold wires and semi precious stones such as amethyst, garnet, lapis lazuli whist others are left as classic designs.  We use an eco waterproof glaze so they are ready as a soap dish and edged with gold. 

Each dish comes with a free guest soap, large round soaps with our larger dishes and presented in a gift box.
