Our whipped luxury Body Butter is rich and smooth, elicits elasticity and suppleness. The My Cottage Cosmetics Whipped Body Butter contains only the purest ingredients to help protect the skin’s natural oils and retain moisture for longer.
The main component of our body butter is organic unrefined Shea butter, which is absorbed quickly into the skin. It melts at body temperature which is very helpful in creating such a rich and elegant body butter. It has moisturising and healing properties and is beneficial to all skin types including baby skin and momma’s bump! It has anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial properties, so a very versatile body butter. Unrefined Shea Butter is the most natural and the least processed of all shea butters and as it is extracted by hand, many of the key vitamins, minerals and natural properties are retained. Virgin Tucuma Butter aids this process, offering a highly moisturising body butter with amazingly natural ingredients.
Shea Butter contains vitamins A and E and whipping the body butter makes the formulation lighter and aerated, which prevents the butter from clogging your pores but moisturises and protects your skin.
The tacoma butter serves as a wonderful moisturiser and is easy absorbed into the deeper layers of the skin. It doesn’t clog the pores and forms the film that protects the skin from dehydration.
Shea Butter and Coconut Whipped body butter also has rice bran CO2 which is amazing for dry, sensitive skin and a great humectant – keeps skin moisturised and supple.
All our body butters are made using the purest, most natural ingredients nature has to offer. Handmade in the Kent countryside, these nor any ingredients are never tested on animals, and completely free of chemicals.

- Tacuma Virgin Butter – High levels of carotenoids offers an anti-oxidant level of protection. Its an excellent emollient and brings softness to the skin without clogging pores.
- Vitamin E– Help speed healing and reduce scarring
- Shea Butter and Coconut Essential Oil– Sheer indulgence! Images of the tropics, a warm summer breeze and delicious coconuts.
- Rice Bran Wax – A skin conditioning agent and protective wax. Adds body to an emulsion and gives a non sticky feel to the skin.
- Rice Starch – the finest of powders and perfect in butters, leaving a silky smoothness.
- Colloidal Oatmeal– A very gentle and soft powder that soothes skin.
- Rice Bran CO2 Extra– softens skin and keeps it moisturised

How to use
Use the scoop to take out a small amount. It will start to melt in the warmth of your hands, rub into your body until all gone.
