OUR INGREDIENTS

 

We use a wealth of natural ingredients in our formulations and some that you may not have heard of. So we thought it would be a good idea to explain where each of our ingredients is sourced. We ensure that none have been tested on animals, that none are animal based. We also ensure that we only use ingredients that are ethically sourced, mainstream ingredients, colours, scents, addatives.

A-Z Of Ingredients

Aloe Vera – Aloe vera is obtained by washing the leaves and removing the spines. The remaining leaf is pulped. One of its main advantages is that few people have a reaction to it so can be suitable for sensitive and problem skin. (aloe barbadensis leaf juice)
Argan Oil – Extracted by pressing the seeds from the fruit of the Moroccan argan tree and is packed with vitamins, phenols, carotenes and fatty acids. It supports healthy skin and hair and protects against free radicals. It has antioxidant and anti-ageing properties.(argania spinosa kernal oil)
Arrowroot -Arrowroot is an all-natural absorbent powder with skin-nourishing, moisturising and anti-irritant characteristics for sensitive skin. It can work as a thickening agent in natural, organic, and vegan skincare. It can add a smooth, silky feel to powdered products, and can be calming to skin sensitivities and irritations.  It also rejuvenates, softens, and  offers skin-soothing properties. It is packed with many essential vitamins and minerals – iron, zinc, potassium, & Vitamin B6.
Black Cumin Seed Oil – Known for its dermatological effects, to reduce skin irritation and improve skin hydration.This flowering shrub is found across the Eastern Mediterranean, North Africa, the Indian Subcontinent, and West Africa. (nigella sativa seed oil).

 BISOBOLOL – This is found in German Camomile and has characteristics that can be anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant and can also enhance absorption of the skin’s dermal layer.
